Karen MaceiraA native of New Orleans, Karen Maceira holds an M.F.A. from Penn State. One of eleven graduate students chosen nationally to participate in a past Ruth Lilly Poetry Convocation, she has poems published in numerous journals such as Blackbird, The Belot Poetry Journal, Louisiana Literature and The New Orleans Review. Her reviews have appeared in several journals, The Harvard Review among them, and her essays can be found in the Hollins Critic and the Journal of College Writing.
