Karamjeet SinghMr Karamjeet Singh and Ms Aditi Bhasin, have a rich and diversified experience of teaching and mentoring with the Directorate of Education Delhi. They have visited several exemplary schools and institutions both nationally and internationally. It wasthrough such experiences and exposures that they realised the significance of happy classrooms and gather key ideas to transform the classroom environment. They have developed training and modules for Pre service and in service teachers on topics dealing with stress, positive mental attitude, effective communication, classroom management, peer observations etc. For learners, they have co-authored several books for SCERT and DoE (Delhi) like English Grammar Workbook, Pragati series, English Foundation Material, Language Games for Elementary students etc. Being Mentor teachers since 2016, i.e. the beginning of the mentorship programme, they have been involved in the flagship programmes of Delhi Government like Mission Buniyad, the Happiness Curriculum, Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum, and Deshbhakti curriculum etc. They have received professional development trainings from world class institutions like NIE (Singapore), TESOL, US Embassy, NCERT and Arizona State University. The learnings assisted them to design, develop and deliver workshops for teachers on various topics for enhancing classroom engagement. Their enthusiasm to share their learnings through innumerable experiences have made them the Key Resource Person for SCERT trainings and have been recognised and awarded for their innovative Teaching Learning Materials. They have been officially invited by TESOL for their international conference as a presenter. They strongly believe that, "Happy Teachers Create Happy Classrooms" thus they find passion in creating and compiling tools and strategies for making teachers, learners and classrooms happy. Presently, Karamjeet is working as an Academic Coordinator and Lecturer English at one of the Government schools of Delhi and Aditi has been given the charge of special duties that includes planning and coordinating effective trainings for a large team of Mentor teachers and Academic Coordinators.
