Under the tutelage of founder Linda Wells, Kara worked as the assistant West Coast Editor. She quickly became known for her ontributions, sharing her perspective on the world of fashion and beauty with a journalistic approach, investigating topics with candor and objectivity. Kara was recruited back to Canada and became editor-in-chief of Ingenue Magazine, which, under her direction, had the fastest growth in circulation among Canadian publication history for the teen target demographic.
