Kamlendra AwasthiKamlendra Awasthi earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur India in 2007. Dr. Awasthi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and is currently working as Head, Materials Research Centre at Malaviya National Insttute of Technology Jaipur, India. He has worked at Nanoscience Center, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India as Research Scientist, and at Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden Germany as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow prior to joining Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur in 2012. His main research area is soft materials with a major focus on polymer nanofillers and nanostructured materials for photovoltaic, sensor, and nanofabrication applications. He has authored/co-authored more than 90 publications and edited the special issues in various journals. He is the organizer of a series of International Conferences on Soft Materials held every two years from 2014 onwards. Dr. Awasthi is the recipient of reputed fellowships: Young Scientist (2008) Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India; Alexander von Humboldt fellowship (2009) by Humboldt foundation Germany; INSPIRE faculty award (2012) from the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and Early Career Research Award (2017) from SERB-New Delhi, India.
