Kaitlyn AllenKaitlyn Allen is an art historian with a Master's in the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and Africa from the Sainsbury Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, UK. Her research focuses on the intersection of indigenous women and queer artists ithin cultural domains, Appalachian artists and architecture, and the portrayal of animals in historical objects. She has worked as a Lecturer at Western Carolina, a used and rare bookseller for Downtown Books & News in Asheville, and a curatorial assistant at the Asheville Art Museum.
