K Michelle KacmarK. Michele (Micki) Kacmar (PhD) is professor of management and the Durr-Fillauer Chair of Business Ethics in the department of management and marketing at the University of Alabama. She received her bachelor¿s degrees in computer science and communiction and a master¿s degree in communication from Illinois State University. Her PhD degree is in human resource management from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Alabama she served on the faculty at Florida State University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Kacmar teaches courses in ethics at the undergraduate level and research design and methodology at the PhD level. Dr. Kacmar¿s general research interests are in the areas of impression management and organizational politics. She has published more than 65 articles in journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Relations, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
