K a ShadyKyra Shady grew-up in a very large, blended family. Being the second of 12 kids, most adopted directly from foster care, their life was always very hectic. To occupy their younger siblings and themselves, they would act out elaborate stories revolvin around brave heroes exploring fantasy worlds. By the age of 10 they realized they wanted to be a writer, so they started transcribing the adventures they had with their siblings and put together a variety of different short stories. Kyra spent their adolescence in Georgia, but after living there for over two decades they were ready for a change. They moved to Nebraska with their wife in 2019.
