June P MurrayDr. Murray is a Clinical Social Worker, who earned a Master degree at Columbia University - School of Social Work in New York City. She went on to earn another Master degree at the University of California - Santa Cruz in Psychology, then a Master Deree and PhD at the University of California - Berkeley in Psychology and Ethnic Studies. Dr. Murray has taught in the Social Work, Psychology, and Gerontology Departments in many universities across the country including U. C. Santa Cruz, U. C. Berkeley, and the State University of North Carolina - Raleigh. She served as the Chair of the Social Work Program at NC A&T State University and Chair of the Gerontology Program at the University of Maryland - Morgan Campus. She is a Mental Health Professional, and has provided psychotherapy for numerous agencies via her private practice. Dr. Murray is also a Pro-Diversity Consultant, and has served on conference panels and has organized focus groups on diversity as well as suicide prevention. Dr. Murray is the mother of Cole M.
