Julie P MorrisJulie Morris was born in the year you need to scroll way to far back on your phone to find, in South Australia, in a pub in the Adelaide Hills, where she maintains most of her ribaldry and sarcasm was developed. As an only child she was often in her wn head making up stories and plays, and things to teach her pet galah to say to unsuspecting patrons. After completing her nursing training, Julie travelled the world with a backpack. She always found that laughter was the best medicine. Especially for children. She did many other jobs such as placing coffin lids and silver servicing without a clue how to hold a plate. Julie met many characters on her travels, such as the Dali Lama, whom she fell onto at the Darwin Airport, and Borris Becker whom she nearly killed with a kite on Glenelg Beach. Julie is not shy to get up and perform on stage. She has performed in an Indie Film and done stand-up comedy. Yet stored under her bed was a "gunna" box of writings poems and songs. The lid was weighed down with dust bunnies and tied up with a big bow made of procrastination. She was gunna write a book, one day. So far, her published stories are for kids. There is a fiction adult saga in the works based on her time in the NT. Some other adult sagas more suited to the black band Mills and Boon would slap across the front page, and a recipe book in the works.Julie children's books have some moral that she heard from her own Grandparents. Or educational value done in a way to help things stick in a young your mind. Others are just cheeky and made to make kids - and you - laugh out loud. Read More Read Less
