Julie L SeelyJulie L. Seely is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Tufts University, School of Medicine. She is a consultant in women's health education and telehealth. In 2010, she began a second career writing about the legacy of her grandfather, Nathan T. eely Sr., one of the first African American builders in Westchester County, New York. Her first project, a screenplay, Skinny House, was shortlisted at the 2011 Gotham Screen and International Film Festival. Upcoming creative projects in production at Skinny House LLC include a picture book for children and a musical inspired by her grandfather's story and the famous house he built in Mamaroneck in 1932. Through the imprint, Skinny House Press, Seely plans on helping other debut authors share their family legacies, one story at a time.
