Julie Kane
Julie Kane is a past National Poetry Series winner, Fulbright Scholar, and Louisiana Poet Laureate. Co-editor with Grace Bauer of Nasty Women Poets: An Unapologetic Anthology of Subversive Verse, she has published five boks and two chapbooks of poetry as well as nonfiction and translations. Her work can be found in over sixty anthologies, including Penguin's Pocket Poetry, Norton's Seagull Reader, and Best American Poetry 2016. She lives in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Western Colorado University.
