Julie HrubyJulie Hruby is Assistant Professor of Classics at Dartmouth College, where she teaches Greek archaeology. She has been working on plain-ware pottery from the pantries of the Palace of Nestor at Pylos since 2002 and has several other ongoing research rojects, including the study of population attributes of human fingerprints on archaeological objects, replication of the technical processes of ceramic production, the reconstruction of Mycenaean feasting and culinary culture, and a longitudinal photographic survey of the decay of modern mud-brick vernacular architecture in the Peloponnese.
