Julie HojnackiJulie Hojnacki, the youngest of four, was born and raised in Alaska by her blonde-hair, blue-eyed mother from Missouri and her energetic, Chinese father from Hong Kong, who came to America when he was eighteen. Julie spent many years living in New Oreans, Boston, and Atlanta (going to school, getting married, and working as a criminal defense attorney-you know, doing grown-up stuff), until she returned to her hometown where she lives today with her husband and two kids. From an early age she used her imagination to stave off bordom, such as naming the furniture, playing with thermoses like dolls, and making tanning beds in the snow.
