She is the creator of the Life and Soul trilogy of novels, Frank (2017), Jackie (2019) and June (2023), about the love and loss of a family in 1980s Airdrie, Scotland. Her non-ficton book, 15 Minutes With You, was first published in 2015. She features regularly on radio and television in podcasts, documentaries, shows and panels surrounding her work in music and literature.
