Julie Fontenot LandryJulie Fontenot Landry, a Louisiana native, is the author, coauthor, or translator of many works for children and adults incorporating the state's history and folklore. She is the daughter of the late Louisiana author Mary Alice Fontenot, with whom sh collaborated on numerous projects, including writing the music, lyrics, and piano arrangements for several books in the Clovis Crawfish series.In addition to English, Landry speaks and writes the French of her Acadian ancestors and translates from one to the other, notably in the Clovis Crawfish series.
