Juliana Hamilton ChaseJuli Chase grew up outside a small town in South Carolina, one of fourteen children. The woods were their playground. They were very inventive when it came to having fun. The community they lived in, Jordan Town, had about fifteen houses, so everyoneknew everyone. She married and moved to New York, then lived in eight other states. During that time, she established a successful art career. Juli's work is in the permanent collection of The Smithsonian Institute, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Tennessee's Governor's Mansion, and corporate and private collections throughout the U.
