Julian GarnerJulian Garner's plays include Cyril's Little Moments of Weakness and Strength, Golden Leaf Strut, Guardian Angels and The Flight into Egypt. He has been writer in residence at Hampstead Theatre. In Norway he won the Ibsen price for The Awakening in 188. He completed Silent Engine while on attachement at the NT Studio, during which time he also wrote The Bear Table for the NT/International Connections youth theatre project. Julian now lives in Finland, where his new play, Speak No Evil: A Mummer's Play For The 21st Century, is one of the biggest events planned for the 2011 European Capital of Culture programme, in Turku.
