Judy DayJudy Day has been a teacher for many years, concentrating on reading. She has seen many children's books and loves reading them silently and to children and adults. As a child she also loved to read and had many favorite books, including Anne of Gree Gables, ¬ e Secret Garden, Pollyanna, and Nancy Drew, to name only a few of the many, many that she read. One day when thinking about favorite books she had read as a child and, then, reread as an adult, it occurred to her that all of her favorites had a "moral" to the story. They also had characters who tried very hard to do what was good or, at least, learned how important it was to do the best possible to be good. Judy believes that children's books can help children to learn patience and kindness and to let go of anger. She believes that these lessons can last forever. Judy also believes that it is important to "believe" and that life is full of magic if we are open to it. Sometimes we may not even actually see the magic but it is still there to help us in our lives. Judy hopes that you believe, even in the darkest of times, and that your life is filled with sparkling magic. She also hopes you find this book to be sparkling! Read More Read Less
