Joyce S OslandJoyce S. Osland is the Lucas Endowed Professor of Global Leadership and Executive Director of the Global Leadership Advancement Center at San Jose State University. A Past President of the Western Academy of Management, she has authored over 150 publcations on topics ranging from global leadership to intercultural communication and women in management. She co-authored Global Leadership: Research, Practice, and Development (2017) and co-edits Advances in Global Leadership (2018) and the Sage Handbook of Contemporary Cross-Cultural Management. She has lived and worked in seven countries over fourteen years, including work in international development in Latin America and West Africa, served as a faculty member at INCAE, and consults to universities and global organizations world-wide.
