Joy CorleyJoy Corley, earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of South Carolina. She worked in many different capacities in the field of social work until retiring in 2021, after 24 years as a Care Coordinator at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Joy became alover of children's books after her son Clay was born in 1982. She always wanted to write a children's book and was just looking for the right inspiration whenever Percy came into her life. Always an animal lover, Percy became the new character in a long list of characters in the household she shares with her husband, Rick and 5 other rescues.
