Joy And Ellie HoranJoy Horan was told from a young age that she was different to other kids, and she was often labeled as the naughty girl. An adult diagnosis of ADHD was very empowering and showed her a pathway to self compassion. She has always had a desire to help ohers as she recognises the challenges that come with neurodivergence, and she understands that people simply want to be heard and to be understood. Ellie Horan spent much of her early life feeling like she didn't fit in. When family traits were later revealed to be neurodivergent, she began to recognise the signs in herself. As an adult she is learning how to de-mask and move through her own emotions. Ellie is keen to show parents/carers and their kids that it is possible to move through big feelings with compassion and understanding.Janice Barber couldn't deny the love she had for art, despite being born in a household with strong Filipino traditions. After finally immersing herself in study, her passionate pursuit has paid off and her illustrations can be found in children's books among other places.
