Josephine E HernandezJosephine E. Hernandez earned her BA from Inter American University in Puerto Rico and her MA from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Ms. Hernandez recently retired from Passaic County Community College where she was a vice president. Aftera very successful career in higher education, she now enjoys spending more time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. She has been active in her community and has served on several boards, including the New Jersey State Board of Education. Ms. Hernandez was born in Cuba and emigrated to the US in 1962 fleeing from the Castro regime. Preserving her original culture, family history and first language are very important.
