Joseph Eidelberg

Joseph Eidelberg Joseph Eidelberg was born in Odessa on February 8, 1916 and at the age of seven he moved with his family to Palestine. He served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces and in 1952 he became the general manager of the Dead Sea Works. Later in hi engineering carrier, the author discovered interesting linguistic and cultural similarities between the Hebrew language and Bambara, spoken by an African tribe in Mali, leading to the original publication of Bambara in 1972. Upon retirement devoted all of his time to the exploration of the mysterious story of the ten lost tribes. Through intensive research, travel, studies and religious practice, the author completed his second book, The Japanese and the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. He was fluent in seven languages.
