Joseph E ColfordJoseph E. Colford holds a Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from Seton Hall University; he also is a licensed psychologist and a certified school psychologist in New Jersey. Dr. Colford worked in the public schools, primarily at the middle an high school levels, for almost 27 years before leaving the public sector for higher education. He now is in his 13^th year at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey, as a professor of psychology and the director of the graduate program in school psychology. A former president of the New Jersey Association of School Psychologists (2012-13), he also is the co-author with Dr. Cavaiola of two previous books, A Practical Guide to Crisis Intervention and Crisis Intervention Case Book.
