Joseph D LoweJoseph (Joe) D. Lowe is a Type 2 Incident Commander for the Rocky Mountain Area Team C. His team is one of 56 Type 2 teams available for national deployment on large complex incidents. He is the current Chairman of the Rocky Mountain Coordinating Grop (RMCG). The RMCG provides geographic leadership in implanation and communication of policy, standards, guidelines, and qualifications for wildland fire programs and management. He also derves as teh Division Director/Chief of the South Dakota WIldland Fire Suppression Division. He previously servedwith the Orange County and San Bernadino County, CaliforniaFire Departments before assuming his current position in South Dakota.
