Jose Ivan MojicaJosé Iván Mojica is a full Professor at the Instituto de Ciencias Naturales, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Bogotá.

He has an Undergraduate Biology degree from Pontificia Universidad Javieriana, Bogotá, and aPh.D. from the Universidad Complutese de Madrid, Spain. His research interest include biodiversity of neotropical fresh water fishes, Amazon, Orinoco and Magdalena rivers fish ecology, Amazon stream ecology, biogeography, and conservation of neotropical freshwater fishes and rivers.
