Jordan WrightLawyer and magazine publisher Jordan M. Wright began collecting memorabilia atthe age of 10. In his life, he amassed a collection of more than a million objects. Hisgoal was to create a permanent exhibit called the Museum of Democracy. When theoriginl core of this book was published in 2008, it became the first public view ofthis collection. He suddenly passed away at age 50 and left his collection and hisdreams of a museum to his family. He would be happy to know that the Museum ofDemocracy is now a reality at Long Island University in New York. In addition tothe permanent exhibit, there is also a touring display of the collection, which makesguest appearances in museums and universities across the United States.
