Jongikhaya MveneneDr Jongikhaya Mvenene was born in Centane, in the Eastern Cape. He did his primary education at Nyhityaba Primary School and Wili Junior Secondary School. He matriculated from Dondashe Senior Secondary School. He holds B Paed (Arts) and BA Hons degres in history from the University of Fort Hare. He holds an MA (History) degree from the University of Transkei and DEd (History Education) from Walter Sisulu University. A historian and history educationist, he lectures History Education to B Ed and PGCE students, and supervises students at master's and PhD levels at the Mthatha Campus of Walter Sisulu University, where he currently is the Head of the Department of Humanities and Creative Arts Education. He has presented papers at national and international conferences, including Botswana, China and Spain, and has a number of publications to his credit. Read More Read Less
