Jonathan David DixonA proud member of the Lewis Carroll Society of North America since 1991, Jonathan David Dixon has had frequent associations with the works of Charles L. Dodgson, having illustrated The Hunting of the Snark and The Tale of the Mouse's Tail, as well asthe first-ever publication of the ballad opera for marionettes La Guida Di Bragia in 2008 (for which he became the first illustrator in over a century to be approved by the Carroll Estate to illustrate a new work). For Theaterwork's premiere production of La Guida Di Bragia in 2009 -- the first since Carroll's own teenaged performances -- he acted as co-director/designer and composer/arranger. The event was attended by Carrollians from around the U.S. and world. He is also an actor with a number of movie and TV appearances, a member of the acclaimed Theaterwork company in Santa Fe, and a songwriter and composer. He might also have the distinction, by sheer dumb luck, of being the only person ever to walk into the British Library off the street and be granted a private showing of Lewis Carroll's original manuscript for Alice's Adventures Under Ground.
