Jon R BeckerJon Becker is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science at Indiana University Northwest (IUN) in Gary, Indiana. His passion for student success stems from his own experience as an academically dismissed college student ith no motivation or direction for his future. Jon has received a variety of awards for teaching excellence, including the IUN Founders' Day Award for Excellence in Teaching. Most notably, in 2014, Jon was awarded the Indiana University President's Award for Distinguished Teaching-Indiana University's highest honor for teaching excellence.
