John Tartaglione

John TartaglioneJOHN TARTAGLIONE is an American comic artist who has worked on several historical comics. He illustrated the comics biographies 'The Life of Pope John Paul II', 'Mother Teresa of Calcutta' for the Marvel group and 'Mickey Mantle: the unauthorized bioraphy' for Personality Comics in the early 1980s. In the 1950s, Tartaglione illustrated two issues in the Classics Illustrated series: 'Won by the Sword' and 'Tom Brown's Schooldays'. His other credits include 'Dragonslayer', 'Captain Marvel', 'X-Men', and a 'Spiderman/Wolverine' crossover. John Tartaglione passed away in November 2003. Read More Read Less
