John RohwerDr. Rohwer was professor and chair of the Health and Human Performance Department at the University of St. Thomas. He taught courses for pre-service and in-service health education. In addition to his administrative and teaching responsibilities, Dr.Rohwer supervised student teachers and internship experiences. He also served as consultant with the St. Paul School district in a federally funded ELL/ESL program. Dr. Rohwer has over 30 publications in the health education field along with having received numerous research grants focusing on health behavior prevention initiatives among youth. His awards include: Outstanding Health Educator in Wyoming, Outstanding Higher Education Professional in Minnesota, Who's Who in America, the National Cancer Society Honor Award, and Central District's AAHPERD Outstanding Scholar Award.
