John R DalphinProfessor John R. Dalphin received his undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College and both his MA and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has taught at Merrimack College for over 30 years, teaching courses in popuation problems, research methodology, social class, and social inequality. He is also the author of a book on the perpetuation of class inequality entitled The Persistence of Social Inequality in America.
