Lynch was educated at St. Bernard's CBCCollege, Moonee Ponds Victoria.He is the great, great grandson of Kyneton pioneerJoseph Hall who established Windmill Farm in 1849.He built two other nearby local farms in the 1850's.He has written seeral history/fictional and localVictorian history books, plus his autobiography. Mostbooks are available in local state libraries and ase-books. Primarily the stories are based on Victoriancolonial and WW1 events with possible interrelatedscenarios. To research these books, he successfullytravelled to his family's origins in England and Irelandseveral times.John is an ex-navy veteran and was President of theRomsey/Lancefield R.S.L. for nearly ten years.
