John M FarrenJohn Farren was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. After serving in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era, he worked in the communications industry while attending evening university classes. In the 1990s, his company moved him and hs family to their College and University division in Ann Arbor, Michigan. John was an Area and Regional Sales Manager, before retiring in 1998. With his retirement, John became more active in the Knights of Columbus Council number 7891in Green Oak Township, Michigan, rising to the position of Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator of his Assembly. It was during this time that John met Ron and the two became good friends. When John and his family moved to Florida, their families often vacationed together. It was during one of these vacations when their collaboration started on Forty-One's Journey. John's family and Ron's widow remain friends to this day. Read More Read Less
