John LaFargeFr. John LaFarge, S.J. (1880-1963) was a champion for interracial justice and ecumenism. He was a long-time editor and writer for America magazine. He authored several books, including No Postponement: U.S. Moral Leadership and the Problem of Racil Minorities and The Catholic Viewpoint on Race Relations as well as his popular autobiography The Manner Is Ordinary.
