John Hodgen

John Hodgen is Writer in Residence at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is the author of four previous books of poetry: In My Father's House, winner of the Bluestem Award; Bread Without Sorrow, winner of the Balcone Poetry Prize; Grace, winner of the AWP Donald Hall Prize in Poetry; and Heaven & Earth Holding Company, a 2011 Massachusetts Book Award winner. Hodgen is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Grolier Prize, the Foley Poetry Prize, the Ruth Stone Poetry Prize, an Arvon Foundation Award, the Chad Walsh Prize, and inclusion in Best American Poetry 2017.
