John F LoaseDr. John F. Loase invented the word 'sigfluence' in 1984 at a lecture he gave at Harvard's International Conference on Thinking. The term 'sigfluence' was coined to mean 'significant, long-term, positive influence'. John's 13th book, Sgfluence (Significant, Long Term Positive Influence: The Key to Purpose), reveals the fulfillment of the Millennials' sigfluence potential in electing President Biden on an agenda of environmental advocacy, honoring the Black Lives Matters movement, and a desire to remedy systemic racism. He believes that our young people are leading the way to foster connection and effecting sigfluence. Throughout his career, he has taught math ranging from the 6th-grade level to advanced statistics at NYU. John's doctorate in mathematics and psychology is the first awarded from Columbia University Teachers College.
