John E MontgomeryJohn's interest in space exploration began at a very young age. Although he went on to study and practice chemical engineering, his curiosity for space remained strong. Upon his retirement, John began researching space exploration and the impact thata strong space program would have in uniting the country, both politically and economically.

John grew up in Tide Head, New Brunswick. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick and went on to work in the mining industry in Africa, followed by a long career in the pulp and paper industry in New Brunswick, where he eventually made his home.
