John DeCarloJohn DeCarlo, Ph.D. is a nationally recognized expert in community policing and management, innovation, and leadership in policing. His police career spanned 34 years, including six years as a chief of police. Dr. DeCarlo is a professor and the direcor of the Master's Program in Criminal Justice at the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. from the City University of New York Graduate Center.
