John BredfeldtJohn was born in 1947, and raised in a small town in dead center Kansas (Bushton). He attended grades 1-12 in Bushton, then obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in economics and a minor in accounting (1969). He was commissioneda 2nd Lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force (via Air Force ROTC), and immediately continued his education at Wichita State University to obtain a masters degree in economics (1971). John served 24 years in the U. S. Air Force in various strategic financial planning and aircraft acquisition financial roles (eight of which were in Washington, D. C.), retiring as a Lt. Colonel. He was immediately hired as a contractor to continue his efforts of working with heavy equipment manufacturers to help them reduce their costs and improve their logistics support to the Air Force. Shortly after retiring from the Air Force, John began 2 years of work to complete his Doctorate in Public Administration and Economic Public Policy (completed in 1995). John also has taught college business and economics courses for over 32 years a various colleges and universities as an adjunct professor. John is currently retired and still continues to teach courses at local colleges whenever his schedule allows. This is John's fourth book on economics and the U. S. Political Economy.
