John BowieBristol Noir is an independent e-zine specialising in crime and dark fiction full of dirty realism, founded by Bristol-based author, designer and artist John Bowie. Bristol Noir evolved out of John's constant need to write and create. Inspired by thewriting of Bukowski, the grit of the city and a longing for the harsh landscapes of his Northumberland home, it finally arrived in 2017. Initially set up as a creative outlet, for writing and artwork, it has rapidly grown into its own publishing label and popular e-zine showcasing the best new and established authors, worldwide. Bristol Noir is proud to support existing and new writers that don't necessarily fit into the mainstream crime sections. Through its e-zine, it aims to publish fiction, short stories and highlight exciting writers. Featuring: Alpheus Williams, Andrew Davie, Anthony Neil Smith, B.F. Jones, Ben Newell, Blake Johnson, Bobby Mathews, C.W. Blackwell, Curtis Ippolito, David Tromblay, Don Stoll, F.J. Romano, Gabriel Hart, Graham Wynd, Ian Ayris, Jason Butkowski, J.B.
