John BlackmanJohn Blackman (Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Reading) was a Director and initiator of the University's multidisciplinary nanoscience programme and is now Visiting Professor at the University of Leicester. He specialises in themodelling of magnetic clusters. Chris Binns (Professor of Nanoscale Physics at the University of Leicester) is Head of the Condensed Matter Physics group and leads the research in Cluster Assembled Materials. His expertise is in the production and characterisation of clusters with particular emphasis on synchrotron-based techniques. Paul Mulheran (John Anderson Research Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow) leads an interdisciplinary group modelling cluster formation on surfaces; the work covers both metal and protein aggregation. Edman Tsang (Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Oxford University) leads a wide-ranging research programme into both the fundamental and applied aspects of developing novel nanomaterials for heterogeneous catalysis, sensor and biomedical applications.
