John B HickmanJohn Bibb Hickman, B.S., M.S., M.A. After retiring from a long career as chemical engineer, technical writer, and CEO of a manufacturing firm, Mr. Hickman returned to college to earn a master's degree in Creative Writing. During his working career, h published technical papers, received more than two dozen patents, and was the lead author of several ANSI standards adopted by the International Building Code. He has written several short stories, a novel about the social impact of mass incarceration (as yet unpublished), and poetry drawn from the joys and sorrows of the eight decades of his life.
