Some of the devices listed in the book's Ultrasmart Home features, can be reviewed in the Carlin patents.He also has been a life-long painter of realism oil paintings.Since retiring, he wanted to try his hand in writing that was not technical in nature. So, a fiction story was devised and is the result here in this book. The story does include aspects of his faith and he believes those to be true. Still, the story surrounding those truths, the paranormal stuff, are an interesting offering of what is between heaven and hell.
