Johan Sparr

Johan Sparr

Johan Sparr has always had a passion for fantasy and science fiction, ever since he first read Terry Pratchett's Discworld series as a teenager. He was immediately drawn into the witty world of magic, adventure, and imagination.

After his tie studying Computer Science and Biology at Uppsala University, Johan began writing his own mystical fantasy stories set in magical worlds. He was inspired by authors like Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, and Jim Butcher.

When he's not writing, Johan enjoys reading urban fantasy literature, watching science fiction movies, studying history, and adding to his collection of exotic plants. He also loves exploring the wilderness which has a rich sense of folklore and magic, just like in his stories.

Johan currently lives in the small town of Bollnäs in Sweden with his wife, two children, a cat called Purr, and more books than can fit on his shelves. He is busy working on the next installments in The StainedSteam series, taking readers deeper into the secrets of a magical Victorian London.
