Joe OblackJoe Oblack was born in New York City, earned a business degree at the University of Miami, and subsequently completed a career in the US Air Force as a commissioned officer. After the air force, he went to work in Iran and was there during the 1979 Ianian Revolution. He saw a Western, cosmopolitan city overthrown in a few months by radical fundamentalists and saw Khomeini triumphantly return and establish the Islamic Republic of Iran. After some unnerving incidents with the radicals, Joe returned to the United States. Joe followed on with a position working with members of the Saudi Air Force, where he learned more about Shariah and Mohammad and started reading the Koran.
