Joe MucciaJoe Muccia, GySgt, USMC (Ret.), served in a variety of headquarters, communication, infantry and force reconnaissance units in a military career spanning 20 years. He participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 where he was awarded a Navy and Marne Corps Achievement Award with Combat Distinguishing Device, the Combat Action Ribbon and a Presidential Unit Citation. After his retirement from the Marines, Joe completed his Bachelors of Science in History. Since then, he has contributed to numerous books and publications focused on World War II, Vietnam, Operation Urgent Fury (Grenada, 1983), Operation Just Cause (Panama, 1989) and the Global War on Terror.
