They are the editor of A Shadow Map: Writing By Survivors of Sexual Assault (CCM, 2017) and the illustrator of Dead Tongue, a poetry collection by Bunkong Tuon (Yes Poetry, 2020). Joanna received a MFA in writing at Sarah Lawrence College and a double BA in creative writing and literature at SUNY Purchase College. Currently, Joanna is the founder of Yes, Poetry, the senior managing editor for Luna Luna Magazine. Joanna also teaches courses at Brooklyn Poets and Yes Poetry. Their work has been featured in Brooklyn Magazine, Them, Prelude, Columbia Journal, Electric Literature, Joyland, Tarpaulin Sky, Ravishly, The Rumpus, VIDA, The Huffington Post, F(r)iction, Nat Brut, among others.
