From 2018 to 2021 I have been exploring other forms of art and realized it came easy for me and I enjoyed it. But when someone would sk me what I make, I seemed to stumble with the words. But if they asked about what I write about, I would talk their ears off. During this time I learned more about the skills I have and should use in my books and articles. These four years have shown me that I have what it takes to create the books I started out trying to make for kids. Let me explain, I was an Early Childhood Development teacher for many years. I have taken more classes that pertain to children with special needs. I wanted to create a book that I could illustrate and add sign language and ASL writing to. Not only that, but I wanted something that would help the children learn these methods of communication. I created this, but the publishing world wasn't ready for all that back then. So I used my children's stories in the classroom during circle time. I drew the pictures and I created the stories, As I acted it out I used hand signs for keywords and the children responded by actually learning these signs and so much more.
